How do I place an order at Walmart using Sezzle?

To use Sezzle as a payment method at Walmart, you'll need the following:

  1. A single-use virtual card1 or Sezzle subscription and multi-use virtual card
  2. A Walmart account
Single-use card (No subscription required) Multi-use card (Sezzle Premium or Anywhere subscribers)
Online:
  1. Open the Sezzle mobile app and find Walmart.
  2. Add the items you’d like to purchase to your cart.
  3. Click “Pay with Sezzle” to create a new single-use card.
  4. Enter your order total.
  5. Review and agree to your loan terms. 
  6. Proceed to checkout. Copy and paste the single-use card details in the payment section.
 Online:
  1. Open the Sezzle mobile app and find Walmart.
  2. Add the items you’d like to purchase to your cart.
  3. Click “Pay with Sezzle” to create a new purchase request. 
  4. Enter your order total.
  5. Review and agree to your loan terms. 
  6. Proceed to checkout. Copy and paste the multi-use card details in the payment section.

In-store:

Before going to the checkout line, add the virtual card details to Walmart Pay within the Walmart app and set it as your preferred payment method, or ensure to select it in the checkout process.

The single-use card is only activated for use at the merchant you created it for. If you attempt the card anywhere else, it will be declined.

If you’ve already added the multi-use card to your Walmart account, you will not need to re-add it. Creating the purchase request activates the same card for use. 

Unapproved items:

Certain items are not approved while using the virtual card at Walmart.

  • Gift Cards
  • Wireless Service Plans
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Walmart+ Memberships (unless subscribed to Anywhere or using a single-use card)

If you have any of these items in your cart, please remove them before trying to pay with the Sezzle virtual card at checkout.

All Sezzle and Anywhere restrictions apply.
