The security of your personal information is a priority for Sezzle. Your SSN will only be used for identity verification purposes. Your personal information will be encrypted and provided only to Sezzle banking partners through a secure connection.
You can verify your SSN the next time you create a purchase request, at the next Sezzle checkout, or from the “Accounts” tab in the Sezzle app or your dashboard.
I'm having trouble verifying my SSN.
Please keep in mind that you should never share your Social Security number with anyone over the phone or through email. A Sezzle Shopper Support agent will never ask for it, either. For Sezzle’s verification purposes, you only need to enter it in the secure verification tool when prompted by Sezzle.
