Why didn't I get a discount at the pump?
Sorry for any confusion with this! Gas & Dining offers are not a coupon or rewards card. They are Spend back offers, which means you'll earn a discount in the form of Sezzle Spend credited to your Sezzle account after your eligible purchase has been made and confirmed.
What if the sign price at the station is different from the price in the app?
The price displayed in the Sezzle app should match the price shown on the gas station’s sign; however, occasionally, Sezzle’s price may differ from the actual price on the station's sign. The good news is that we can see exactly when you bought gas, and we cross-reference each of your transactions with the gas stations' records. Your Spend back will be calculated based on the number of gallons of gas you purchased at the price shown on your receipt or in the gas station’s transaction log. So even if the gas prices don't match, you'll still receive the ¢/gal Spend back as noted.
After I’ve claimed my Gas & Dining offer, how much time do I have to make my purchase?
Time varies by the type of offer:
- Gas, restaurant, and convenience store offers: 4 hours from the time you claim the offer
- Grocery offers: 24 hours from the time you claim the offer
What payment methods are accepted?
To earn Spend back from Gas & Dining offers in the Sezzle app, your purchase must be made using one of the following methods:
- The Sezzle Virtual Card – You can access the Sezzle Virtual Card from the Virtual Card tab in the Sezzle App.
- A physical debit or credit card that is linked to your Sezzle account as a payment method.
Important: Purchases made using virtual wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or similar platforms will not qualify, even if the virtual wallet is linked to a valid debit or credit card saved in your Sezzle account. You must use the physical card directly to be eligible.
