How to Refer a New Shopper
When you log into your Sezzle account, you will see something similar to the banner above. Please note: the exact dollar amount may be different for you as amounts earned from referrals may change over time.
Simply click on the banner and you will be taken to a screen where you will be able to text or email a unique code to friends and family. When they use your code, they will be prompted to sign up for Sezzle, and will earn Sezzle Spend as soon as they create their account!
If the person you are referring already has a Sezzle account, the referral will not be accepted. Referrals only work if you are referring someone who has not used Sezzle before.
I referred someone but have not received my Sezzle Spend
If you referred someone to Sezzle, but have not received your Sezzle Spend yet, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Verify that the person you referred is a brand new Sezzle shopper. If they had a preexisting Sezzle account, the referral will not be accepted.
- Confirm that the person you referred has used Sezzle to place an order of at least $40. If the order total was below $40, you will not receive Sezzle Spend.
- If both of the above are true and you still have not received your Sezzle Spend, please reach out to our Support team for further assistance!
