How do I refer someone to Sezzle?
Look in your Sezzle dashboard and click on the refer a friend banner. This will take you to a screen where you will be able to text or email a unique code to friends and family. When they use your code, they will be prompted to sign up for Sezzle, and will earn Sezzle Spend as soon as they create their account.
If the person you are referring already has a Sezzle account, then neither of you will be eligible to receive Sezzle Spend for the referral.
What if I refer someone but I do not receive my Sezzle Spend?
If you referred someone to Sezzle, but have not received your Sezzle Spend yet, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Verify that the person you referred is a brand new Sezzle shopper. If they had a preexisting Sezzle account, the referral will not be accepted.
- Confirm that the person you referred has used Sezzle to place an order of at least $40. If the order total was below $40, you will not receive Sezzle Spend.
