If your order qualifies for long-term financing, you will be prompted at checkout to get prequalified with Sezzle + Ally! After providing some additional information, Ally will determine the flexible financing options you are prequalified for, including the length of each loan, the APR, and your monthly minimum payments. Once you apply for your preferred loan, a hard credit check will be performed (prequalification does not affect your credit), and you will be asked to sign your loan agreement. After this, your order is complete! You will be able to see your Sezzle + Ally orders in your Sezzle dashboard, but all account actions will take place through your Ally account directly (i.e., making payments, updating your personal information, etc.).
When your order is placed, Sezzle + Ally pays the merchant in full immediately, so the merchant has their funds right away and is able to process your order as if you had paid them in full! This isn't layaway, however, so the merchant fulfills your order within their normal shipping and processing times.
All you have to do to get started is select Sezzle at checkout with a participating merchant and we walk you through the rest of the process! Sezzle + Ally is only available for a select number of merchants at this time, but we will continue to add new merchants in the future, so keep a lookout for Sezzle + Ally as you continue to shop with Sezzle!
