We understand that unexpected things can happen to your payment method—a card gets stolen, a deposit is a day late, or the budget for the week just didn't quite work out. Because our goal is financial empowerment, we provide you with three reschedules per order so that you can adjust your payments to dates that work best for you.
Your first reschedule for an order is totally free! This means you can push your installment out by up to two weeks, at no additional cost. At the same time, you can also automatically adjust any future installments out by the same time frame, also at no additional cost.
While an installment can only be moved out to two weeks from the originally scheduled date, you are able to reschedule the installment again if needed, but the second and third reschedules come with a fee* that is charged with the installment. For example, if you moved an installment out by three days, but then needed to move it out again later, a fee would be added to that installment.
However, you can always reschedule a payment to an earlier date for no charge. To learn more about paying off installments early, please read more here.
To reschedule an installment, simply log into your Sezzle dashboard and select the order you'd like to adjust. You'll then have the ability to edit the installment you'd like to change. Select a date from the drop-down selection, review the terms and fees, and make sure to check the box if you'd like all other installments automatically rescheduled as well! Then hit "Confirm" to finalize the process.
- Make sure to review the reschedule window! Once you hit confirm, the reschedule is finalized. If you don't select the option to automatically reschedule the remaining installments, you will need to manually reschedule them and you may be charged the rescheduling fee.
- We recommend rescheduling payments at least 48 hours before the due date to ensure the reschedule is successful. If you reschedule a payment within 48 hours of the day that it was originally due, we cannot guarantee the reschedule will be successful, and the installment may still be charged as originally scheduled.
- Once a rescheduling fee has been added, moving the date to an earlier date will not remove the fee.
