Our system considers various factors during the approval process, including how long you've been a Sezzle shopper, the information you provided at sign-up (soft credit check), and your order history with Sezzle.
Our decisioning process systematically determines spending limits, and the Sezzle Support Team is unable to share spending limits, increase spending limits, or manually approve any orders.

Can Sezzle increase my spending limit?
Sezzle limits are revisited regularly; however, we cannot manually increase spending limits. Because of our unique approval process, including the fact that we don't have fixed spending limits, we can provide our shoppers with a completely free service.
If you are looking to place an order but were declined due to insufficient credit limit, you may need to try lowering the amount of your order or making payments on outstanding orders. Over time, your purchasing power can increase with positive repayment history.
Can my spending limit vary by brand?
Yes, your spending limit may vary by merchant. You can see your spending limit at each merchant within the Sezzle app. So if you would like to increase your spending limit at a particular merchant, make a few payments on your open orders. Note that payments via ACH may take up to 4 business days to process, whereas cards are quicker. The processing timeframe begins the first full business day after the payment has been made. Business days exclude weekends and holidays. If you made your payment on a Friday or over the weekend, your payment will begin processing on Monday.
Please note: Our system does not approve 100% of orders, and your order may be declined, even if the order amount is less than your estimated spending limit, as Sezzle considers various factors during the approval process. Click here to learn more about potential declines you may incur.
