Our system decides which options are available for each individual shopper to pay for an order based on a variety of factors including but not limited to past history, item type, and order value. We do not have a way to manually adjust this.
Why can't I choose pay-in-4?
Sezzle is committed to financially empowering shoppers by supporting responsible spending. Therefore, our system does not approve 100% of orders. By completing one of the items below, you will gain access to pay-in-4 availability.
- Pay-in-4 Availability - If you don’t see pay-in-4 available, your purchase could be outside the pay-in-4 eligibility range. There is a required minimum amount of $35 USD and maximums vary by merchant. Try adjusting the amount of your purchase to make pay-in-4 available or select the pay-in-full option.
- (U.S. Only) Virtual Card - For orders placed in-store with our virtual card, you’ll need to have a total order amount of at least $35 and be prepared to pay at least $8.75 for the initial installment. If your total comes to less than $35, you will be declined for the order and notified via email and text. This notification will include the minimum amount required for this merchant. Add a few more items to meet the minimum and try the transaction again.
Your order may be declined, even if the order amount is less than your estimated spending limit, as Sezzle considers various factors during the approval process. In addition to your individual spending limit, there may also be specific merchant order limitations.
