ATTENTION ALL VIRTUAL CARD USERS!
You have the ability to protect yourself against any potentially fraudulent activity on your Sezzle Virtual Card! This feature will allow you to lock your Virtual Card to prevent usage if you believe the card is at risk for fraudulent activities, and it gives you the opportunity to report any fraudulent charges on your account.
Locking Your Virtual Card
To lock your Sezzle Virtual Card, log into your account using the Sezzle app and navigate to the Sezzle Card tab. Once here, select the ・・・menu from the upper right-hand corner and then choose “Lock card.” Once your card has been locked, it cannot be used for any purchases.
When you feel your card is safe to use again, you can navigate to the Sezzle Card tab in the app and select the ・・・menu. You can then choose “Unlock card.” Once this has been selected, your Virtual Card will be available for use.
You can also lock your Virtual Card within the Settings page on your app. Simply select the "Account" tab, then “Security,” and slide the toggle next to “Lock Virtual Card.” If you tap this toggle again, it will unlock the card so it can be used.
Reporting Fraudulent Activity On Your Virtual Card
If you believe that your Virtual Card has been used fraudulently, we now have a way for you to report this activity directly through our app! Simply navigate to the Sezzle Card tab and select the ・・・menu. Once here select “Report fraudulent activity.” You will then be guided through a series of questions to gather evidence regarding your claim. Once you answer all the questions, the information will be sent to our team for investigation and your Virtual Card will be locked.
You are also able to report fraudulent activity on your Virtual Card within the Settings page in your app. Simply select the "Account" tab, then “Security,” and then “Report fraudulent activity.” You will be prompted with the same series of questions to gather evidence regarding your claim, which will be sent to our team for investigation and your Virtual Card will be locked.
Until a resolution to the reported issue has been found, you will not be able to unlock your Virtual Card. This means if you report fraudulent activity, you will need to wait until our team has concluded their investigation to use your Virtual Card again.
